8-day Trekking in the Mountains

1st DayArrival

Transfer to Kolasin (daily tour, airport Golubovci, Podgorica- Kolasin. On the way from Podgorica to Kolasin visit the Moraca monastery which was built in the 1252 year. It is one of the most monumental orthodox medieval monasteries in Montenegro)

O/n at Bijeli Potok cabins, placed in beautiful ambient, near the forest and stream, where you will meet your host –the owner of the place, Mrs. Ivana Draskovic and have an orientational briefing during dinner.

2nd Day – Forest to Izlazak

After breakfast, we will start our walk through the forest to Izlazak, to the Cirilovac monastery, and continue up to Kljuc pea. At the Kapela, Kljuc we will rest with coffee and tea, and then continue our walk to Krivi do Katun.

3rd DayTrekking

Trekking at Bjelasica mountain meadows from Krivi do to katun Vranjak + visit of Pesica lake
o/n Eko katun Vranjak.

Eco katunVranjak (Summer Pasture) is located by the very border of the National Park Biogradska Gora at an altitude of 1720m. During dinner, you will have a chance to taste some of our forgotten meals. Night magic is waiting for you in small comfortable eco huts for two persons, while during the night mountain sounds and silence are interrupted by an owl hooting or howling of wolfs.

Early getting up will offer your first-morning sun rays falling into the mountain complex that surrounds finding our lungs deeply full of fresh mountain air. You might let nature takes its course while you are overwhelmed with a view at Prokletije, Maganik, and Sinjajevina.

4th DayNP Biogradska Gora

Today's walk is located at NP Biogradska Gora. From Vranjak we go near Zekova Glava peak to Svatovsko groblje, spring of Biogradska river, down to the heart of NP – lake of Biograd. Short transfer (20 min) to Kolasin.

NP Biogradska Gora was proclaimed a National Park in 1952. The most impressive part of the National Park is the virgin forest reserve, a surface of 16 sq km, where a strict protection system has been established. That is one of the last virgin forests in Europe.

5th Day - Rafting Day

Splaviste – Zugica Luka (part of NP Durmitor area) *This is not extreme rafting, it is a relaxing one where you will enjoy untouched and unspoiled nature with a guaranteed good time on the river.

From Kolasin road goes (1h15min ride) along the Tara river to Splavise–a rafting starting point, where we will get instructions and start our 2-2,5h long tour through the deepest Tara canyon.

From Splaviste Camp rafting continues through Ljutica, under Djurdjevica Tara Bridge (365m long, the roadway stands 172 meters above the Tara River -at the time of its completion, it was the biggest vehicular concrete arch bridge in Europe), then through Zeleni virovi and Zugica Luka (about 14 km).

After this tour, we will enjoy the most beautiful nature at the camp place near Djurdjevica Tara bridge.

*Adrenaline lovers will have the opportunity to fly on the Zip line across the Tara canyon.

Famous for its turquoise clean water and 1300mdeep, the Tara canyon is 2nd biggest canyon in the world (after Colorado)

Tour continues to Zabljak where we will have overnight at a 3* hotel.

6th Day – Walk at Durmitor NP

Walk at Durmitor NP area including the visit to Black and Zmijinje lake

7th DayDurmitor NP

Walk combined with sightseeing tour at Durmitor NP (including Sedlo pass, Prutas, and other attractive things ). On the way to Skadar Lake, we can visit Ostrog Monastery. It is a holy place and it is well known all around the world. It is the most popular pilgrimage place in Montenegro. Our next destination is Virpzar, very well known for its Skadar lake, the largest lake in Balkan Peninsula, and the largest National park in Montenegro. We will have an afternoon cruise on the lake and overnight at the hotel.

8th DayDeparture day.

Depending on your flight time we will plan this day. We reccommend tour via Rijeka Crnojevica to Cetinje. After the visit to Cetinje (the old capital).
