Lustica Bay – Downtown healthy and active life in the Adriatic

Spanning 690 acres on the peninsula Lustica, Lustica Bay is an award-winning coastal communities in construction. As a joint project builder Orascom Development and the Government of Montenegro, this project focuses on the protection of the local environment and support the local community, as well as enabling paradise environment for future guests and residents. This coastal city under construction will soon be enriched with natural and hiking trails, promenade along the sea and bike routes, tennis courts and swimming pools, gyms and the first golf course with 18 holes in Montenegro).

Lustica Bay is the first registered LEED project in Europe. When the buildings are complete, each will have a plaque at the entrance showing this extraordinary endeavor, each owner will have a certificate confirming their participation in this important standard of green building. Our project is the first in Europe to use this scoring system, and will be promoted as a model for sustainable communities in Europe.

During the construction of the first homes as well as the first marine Lustica Bay and will soon become the perfect dock for sporty types. At this point, there is already a large number of facilities. Last summer open space to practice golf shots Lustica Bay, and had an opportunity for visitors to attend classes golf and archery, as well as participate in tournaments. By practicing yoga, this year will further expand the offer of sports and fitness. There is also Almara Beach Club, for those who are more for the beach, sunbathing and water sports.

No team working on the Lustica Bay-u did not forget the local athletes. Part of the master plan is to support existing communities in this area, which means a mostly support sports clubs – Sailing Club Delfin, Teodo Basketball Club, the Student Sports Association in Podgorica and others.
