Mountain Sinjajevina
In the north of Montenegro, separating the Tara from Moraca, the impressive lime rock plateau of Sinjavina rises into the sky. This part of the hikers world is known to only a few connoiseurs.
From a tourists perspective this area is less known than the Durmitor and Bjelasica.
Sinjavina offers an ideal setting for hikers, mountain bikers, long-distance horse tours and in wintertime for backcountry skiing and snow shoe hiking.
There are several „katuns“ in Sinjavina which are husbanded in summer and are the reason you come across grazing cattle, sheep and particulary also horses.
Nature lovers will get their fill in Sinjavina. They can have a occasion, with little luck, to see some wild animals, as such as bears and wolves that lives here.
